- Well the baby is beating the 2 of us up pretty good. She keeps the oddest hours. Poor laurie is up every couple of hours feeding her. But god bless her she is hangin tough doing the mom thing!
- 7/23/2008 Lauren Lillian Has Arrived
- July 16th 5:35PM Our daughter Lauren Lillian was born. After 17.5 hours of labor Laurie is ok although more than a little tired. And we have a beutiful little girl!
- 7/1/2008 Babys room is complete!
- Put the finishing touches on the babys room 3 weeks before the due date GO DAD! Pis in the photos area!

Family Stuff: The baby is here! pictures are here Basically life is now rocking the baby changing the baby and feeding the baby. Laurie has been great staying up most nights taking care of the baby because I have to go to work. She is taking to the whole motherhood thing like a duck to water. However she is pretty tired she is trying to get the baby into a normal time table but she is not quite there yet. Tech Stuff: The website is finally functioning with a database backend properly which in geek terms is pretty exciting. I will also be housing this site on a spiffy new server pretty soon a 4U quad processor dell rack mount server with 4 gigs of ram! Insert Tim Allen ARGH ARGH ARGH sound here. Should go nicely with the new gigabit network I installed in the house last fall! Car Stuff: The 55 chevy is getting new brakes! I ordered a new power disc brake conversion kit for the car this week cant wait to install them. pics of the car can be seen in the photos are of the site. Open Source Power Baby! Well as most folks know I am a Linux/opensource fan. I think its because I am cheap at heart. Anyways I finally got ClamAV antivirus scanning working on my Linux Spam filter. I run ASSP On a fedora core box. It is not the most powerful machine in my dungeon however it manages to crunch the thousands of emails my domains get hammered with each day with ease. Who says you have to spend thousands of dollars to control spam and have antivirus coverage for a email server! Go Linux and GO open SOurce!
